Well...we have a bit of a predicament that doubles as an opportunity. The good news is that a big foundation (The Meyerhoff Foundation of Baltimore) thinks Reboot is amazing and made an offer earlier this year to match every new dollar we raise, up to $100,000. We've already raised close to $50,000 BUT we need to raise that same amount from new donors AND we need to do it by Tuesday, December 16th. A bit of an "emergency" because, especially in this economy, we can't pass up on this opportunity...

Some members of the Board met and had a great realization/dream: If each of us donated $200 right now to Reboot that gift could result in $200,000 for scholarships next year's Camp and Summit and local activities like Shanghai Shabbat, pastrami tours, and DAWN.

So, we dare to ask, will you help make this happen?

So, how does $200 turn into $200,000?

Easy math. There are now 280 Rebooters in the network. If each of you gave just $200, we'd have $56,000 , taking us over our $100,000 goal and releasing another $100,000 from that friendly foundation. That's $200,000 that will help Reboot keep on keeping on.

Of course, we know that not everyone in the network operates on the same budget – and we all know a few Rebooters who delete these emails without reading them (you should forward this to them with a better subject line).

So we are asking you – please, give what you can. Give a little more for someone who can't. And remember – every dollar you give (up to $10,000) is worth DOUBLE thanks to the challenge!

As you know (or maybe you don't!), Reboot is a non-profit organization that depends on a SMALL network of supporters to produce events like Summit and Camp, and the projects and products that grow out of them, like our local communities, Guilt & Pleasure, 10Q, Stereophonic or Dawn.

As you can see, this is an amazing opportunity for Reboot and we hope you will look in to your hearts, wallets and memory banks to the hot tub in Utah – and help us reach our goal!
